Dr. Barber has received a 2012 Young Investigator Program (YIP) grant from AFOSR. He will be investigating the effect of atmospheric turbulence on Synthetic Aperture Ladar

Spectrum lab is part of MUS Research Initiative grant totaling $2,496,513 (Joe Shaw).  The focus of the grant is optics and photonics research for compact optical sensors that could be used in everything from precision agriculture to advanced imaging for detecting skin cancer.
